Mountain Creek State School was established in 1994 and is part of a vibrant community in the beautiful Mountain Creek area of Queensland’s Sunshine Coast. We have an enrolment of approximately 770 students and provide quality learning for students from Prep to Year 6.

Mountain Creek provides students with modern and attractive environments in which to learn and play. Every classroom in our school is air-conditioned and is a stimulating learning hub with every class boasting a 20 point Interactive Touchscreen display and wireless internet connectivity, teachers and students are able to engage in 21st century learning.

We value the positive and productive relationship between the school, parents and local community at Mountain Creek and believe that these relationships are central in enabling children to achieve to their potential. We encourage parent involvement across many aspects of school life at Mountain Creek. There are opportunities for parents to assist directly in class activities, provide input into school decision-making and become involved with the Parents and Citizens Association.
